Lollipop Baby Camera

Okay! So I have shared about this camera over on my instagram (bellebeastandbabies) but I wanted to post a full review here too! We recently partnered with Lollipop to test out their baby camera. It is such an interesting concept compared to other baby monitors out there. To be honest… we didn’t even use a video monitor with our first. He slept in our room until 10 months so an audio monitor worked just fine for me. This time though I wanted a visual since I would also be chasing a toddler, and it is nice to not have to carry around a display screen every where I go.

So here is the breakdown!

Pros:

– WiFi connected so you don’t need to worry about that out of signal warning.

– Alerts sent directly to your phone.

– Ability to have alerts to multiple devices

– Crisp audio and video

– Easy to install (flexible base and wall mount allow for instillation almost anywhere)

– Plays white noise or music through the camera eliminating the need for a sound machine.

– Records and allows for playback.

Cons:

– WiFi enabled means if the internet goes out so does the monitor

– Very sensitive to noise (you can change the level at which an alert is sent though!)

– You have to login to the app to see the video.

Overall this monitor is amazing; the innovative design is great for parents to use in a nursery, playroom or as a nanny cam. I highly recommend at least considering this as an option when you look for a new monitor. Price point is similar to many other monitors out there so I recommend choosing what fits your lifestyle the best. For us the Lollipop baby camera is perfect and we probably will buy a second one to use in the playroom!
